Students visit Washington DC and New York City
The keenly-anticipated Sixth Form visit to the USA departed on 4th April and was once again a wonderful trip!
The excursion lead our Year 12 and 13 travellers on their adventure of the US. Visiting Washington DC and New York City, our group were sure to create a wealth of fond and impressive memories along-the-way.
The week-long trip delivered a jam-packed itinerary of visits to monumental sites of interest and historical significance, sight-seeing, a Broadway show and finally a chance to shop on 5th Avenue!
The week began with pupils exploring the historic monuments of Washington DC following in the footsteps of Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther-King before heading on to the next leg of the trip—New York City. Whilst in New York, students visited iconic landmarks and attractions such as Liberty Island and the Rockefeller Centre as well as experiencing the show-stopping Broadway musical, School of Rock!
Quite a trip! Highlights were bountiful, firm friendships fostered and many an unforgettable memory made.
