Year 13 student

"I'm currently studying Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, with a plan to study midwifery at King's College London. I'm aiming to eventually become a midwife practitioner. I like the sense of independence we get at Coombe Sixth Form, and the teachers are very supportive - we get all the help we need, as the teachers make time for us both inside and outside of lessons."

Teacher in charge of Biology; Ms S Anastasi

'By studying A-level biology at Coombe you will explore the all areas of biology, from all vital process of the human body to natural ecosystem. You will gain this understanding through studying key theory and via key practical’s. In the summer term of the first year you will extend your learning outside the classroom, by a trip to West Wittering. Here you will gain a first-hand experience of studying ecosystems and succession in the field.'
