We are pleased to share that Coombe Sixth Form still has places available across a wide range of A-Level and Vocational (Level 3) pathways for students starting this September!
If you are a student looking to secure a place or explore alternative subject options following your GCSE results, we would love to welcome you.
Please note that due to exceptionally high demand from our internal enrolment, a small number of our A-Level subjects are now at full capacity.
Currently FULL:
A-Level Mathematics
A-Level Physics
A-Level Economics
All other A-Level and Vocational courses remain open for application, subject to remaining space and meeting specific course entry criteria.

Date: Friday, 21st August 2026

The 16-19 Bursary Fund is a scheme set up by the government to help the most vulnerable young people aged 16-19 continue in full time education. Its purpose is to provide financial support to help students overcome specific financial barriers to participation, so that they can remain in education.
Bursary awards are based on individual financial needs and cover the following types of essential costs:
• Course books and equipment
• Costs of travel to School
• Educational visits and field trips which are a necessary part of the study course
In addition to the essential costs, university interviews, applications and open day costs may be considered in exceptional circumstances.
You must read the Bursary Fund Policy carefully to ensure that you fully understand the requirements of the Bursary Fund and that you do not miss important application deadlines which are non-negotiable.
