Learning extends far beyond the classroom at Coombe Sixth Form. We offer a wide range of trips, visits and experiences designed to enhance your studies, broaden your horizons and help you prepare for the future.

Subject-specific opportunities in the last few months have included:

• Residential Geography fieldwork trip
• Many theatre visits for Performing Arts and Drama & Theatre students
• Residential trips to Berlin, Paris and Seville for language students.
• A residential visit to the Edinburgh Festival for Performing Arts students
• A visit to the British Film Institute for Film Studies students
• A trip to the National Theatre for History students to watch Summerfolk, a play by Maxim Gorky
• Houses of Parliament trip for Politics Students
• Sociology in Action day for Sociology students
• Health & Social Care trip to Amsterdam
• Chemistry visit to Kingston University for an afternoon of practical work in the undergraduate laboratories
• A visit to King's College University Science Gallery for Health & Social Care students
• Showstopper Musical Theatre Competition for Performing Arts students (yes, our senior team are now national Showstopper Champions!)

These experiences bring learning to life, providing valuable insight and real-world context to the subjects you study.

Of course, your time at Sixth Form will be full of other experiences.  For example you can volunteer to sell poppies for Remembrance Day, take part in the Sixth Form Pantomime, go bowling, take part in tutor group quizes, fun days, prom and more.
